This chicken recipe is superb! You have got to bite your teeth into these juicy chicken pieces! I have listed all the ingredients and directions so all you need to do is to follow them step by step and you are good to go! Feel free to add more ingredients if you prefer. 2 – 8 ounces chicken breasts
¼ cup shredded Parmesan not grated Parmesan
1 cup Italian style bread crumbs
2 eggs whisked
½ cup marinara sauce
½ cup mozzarella cheese
Step 1: Prepare the Air Fryer and preheat to 182 degrees C or 360 degrees F.
Step 2: Slice the chicken breasts into two.
Step 3: Use a meat mallet to pound the chicken pieces into even thickness.
Step 4: Add the Parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs into a medium mixing bowl. Stir until well combined.
Step 5: In a separate mixing bowl, add the eggs. Whisk until creamy.
Step 6: Coat each chicken piece with the whisked eggs, then dip it into the breadcrumb mixture. Repeat this process to the rest of the chicken pieces.
Step 7: Add the coated chicken pieces into the Air Fryer and cook for 6 minutes. Make sure to cook them in batches.
Step 8: Turn the chicken and top each with mozzarella cheese and marinara sauce.
Step 9: Cook them for another 4 minutes or until done.
Step 10: Remove from the Air Fryer and allow them to cool for a few minutes.
Step 11: Serve and enjoy!
