Meatloaf, anyone? Give this recipe a try and I am sure that you will have the best homemade meatloaf ever!
¾ c milk
¾ c Italian breadcrumbs
2 lbs ground beef
⅓ c onion diced
1 tbsp chilli sauce
1 tsp Italian seasoning
2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
½ c chilli sauce
½ c ketchup
2 tbsp brown sugar optional
Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Step 2: Line with aluminium foil and apply with cooking spray in a baking tray.
Step 3: Add milk, eggs, and breadcrumbs into a large mixing bowl. Whisk until well combined.
Step 4: Let the mixture rest for at least 10 minutes at room temperature.
Step 5: Add ground beef, 1 tablespoon of chilli sauce, onions, parsley, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir until well mixed.
Step 6: Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking tray and spread it evenly.
Step 7: Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for about 40 minutes or until done.
Step 8: In a small mixing bowl, add the ketchup and chilli sauce. Stir until well blended.
Step 9: Spread the mixture on top of the meatloaf.
Step 10: Bake the meatloaf again for another 15 minutes or until done.
Step 11: Remove from the oven and let the meatloaf sit at room temperature for at least 10 minutes.
Step 12: Slice into pieces.
Step 13: Serve and enjoy!
