What a great day it is! Today, I learned a new recipe. Thanks to my dear friend, Abby, for giving me this amazing recipe! Oh, man, you should try this because it is simply the best! It is a must-try, I’m telling you!
Ingredients:
Cooking spray
1 container Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls
1 can (540 mL/20 ounces) apple pie filling
3 Eggs
1 c milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
pinch of salt
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
topping
1/8 c brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
vanilla glaze
1/2 c powdered sugar
1 tablespoon milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions:
Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Step 2: Apply cooking spray in an 8-inch square baking pan.
Step 3: Slice the cinnamon rolls into small cuts.
Step 4: Spread the sliced rolls on the bottom of the prepared pan.
Step 5: Top the cinnamon rolls with apple pie filling and spread it evenly.
Step 6: In a mixing bowl, add the eggs, milk, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and salt. Whisk until well combined.
Step 7: Spread the mixture over the apple pie filling.
Step 8: In a small mixing bowl, add the cinnamon and brown sugar. Stir until well blended.
Step 9: Sprinkle the mixture over the casserole.
Step 10: Cover the pan and place it inside the preheated oven, then bake for about 30 minutes.
Step 11: Remove the cover and allow it to bake for another 30 minutes or until done.
Step 12: Remove from the oven and drizzle the vanilla glaze on top.
Step 13: Serve immediately. Enjoy!
