Ingredients:
⅓ c brown sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
⅔ c white sugar
½ c butter softened
2 Eggs
1 ½ tsp vanilla extract
1 ½ c all-purpose flour
1 ¾ tsp baking powder
½ c milk
1 apple, peeled and chopped
Directions:
1. Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
2. Apply cooking spray and sprinkle flour in a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
3. In a mixing bowl, add cinnamon and brown sugar. Whisk until well combined.
4. In another mixing bowl, add butter and white sugar. Beat until well blended.
5. Add the eggs gradually and beat until well mixed.
6. Add the vanilla extract and stir until well blended.
7. In another mixing bowl, add baking powder and flour. Whisk until well mixed.
8. Transfer the flour mixture into the butter mixture, then stir until well combined.
9. Add milk and stir until well blended.
10. Transfer 1/2 of the batter and 1/2 of the sugar mixture into the prepared pan, then spread it evenly.
11. Add the apple mixture into the batter.
12. Spread the rest of the batter on top of the apples.
13. Spread the rest of the apples on top.
14. Sprinkle the remaining sugar mixture on top.
15. Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for about 40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean after inserting it in the middle.
16. Remove from the oven and allow it to cool at room temperature.
17. Serve and enjoy!
