These Apple Enchiladas are superb! I love how easy it is to make such delicious treats! With this very basic set of ingredients, you will surely have the best treats ever! As perfect as this recipe may be, feel free to add more ingredients if you prefer. I am sure that there are a lot of things you can add to take this recipe to the next level! Ingredients:
21 ounces can apple pie filling
6 8″ tortillas
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup water
Directions:
1. Apply cooking spray in a 9×13-inch casserole dish.
2. Fill each tortilla with a cup of the filling.
3. Sprinkle cinnamon over each tortilla, then roll each.
4. Arrange them into the prepared casserole dish.
5. Place a saucepan on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
6. Add butter, water, white sugar, and brown sugar. Stir until well blended.
7. Allow the mixture to boil. Make sure to stir from time to time.
8. Turn the heat down to low and simmer for about 3 minutes.
9. Transfer the sauce on top of the arranged enchiladas. Let it rest for about 45 minutes.
10. Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
11. Place the casserole dish inside the preheated oven and bake the enchiladas for about 20 minutes or until they turn golden brown.
12. Remove from the oven and allow them to cool for a few minutes at room temperature.
13. Serve and enjoy!
Note:
I usually serve these enchiladas with vanilla ice cream.
