Ingredients:
1 cup of sugar
1/2 cup butter, softened
2 Eggs
3 mashed ripe bananas
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
3 Tablespoons sour cream
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup chopped nuts
CREAM CHEESE MIXTURE:
8 ounces softened cream cheese
1/3 cup sugar
1 Egg
1 Tablespoon all-purpose flour
OPTIONAL TOPPING
1 Tablespoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
chopped nuts for sprinkling
Directions:
Step 1: In a mixing bowl, add 2 eggs, sugar, and butter. Whisk until well combined.
Step 2: Add the bananas, baking soda, sour cream, 2 cups of flour, and salt. Stir until well mixed.
Step 3: Add the nuts and stir until well mixed.
Step 4: Apply cooking spray and flour in two loaf pans.
Step 5: Fill each prepared pan with the mixture and spread it evenly.
Step 6: In a mixing bowl, add all the ingredients for the cream cheese. Stir until well combined.
Step 7: Transfer the cream cheese mixture over the pans and spread it evenly.
Step 8: Add the rest of the batter over the cream cheese mixture.
Step 9: Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Step 10: Place the pans inside the preheated oven and bake for about an hour or until a toothpick comes out clean after inserting it in the middle.
Step 11: Remove the loaves from the oven and let them sit at room temperature to cool completely.
Step 12: Slice the loaves to your liking.
