You will be surprised how easy it is to bake the best potatoes! These heavenly treats are ready in less than an hour! Enjoy the crispy skin and soft inside of these Baked Sweet Potatoes! Serve them with your favorite toppings! The perfect side dish you will ever have, I’m telling you!
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon sea salt or kosher salt
4 sweet potatoes medium size, long and thin
Directions:
1. Prepare the oven and preheat to 200 degrees C or 400 degrees F.
2. Apply cooking spray or line with parchment paper onto a baking sheet.
3. Rinse the sweet potatoes with water and remove any dirt. Use paper towels to pat them dry.
4. Use a fork to poke small holes all over the potatoes.
5. Drizzle olive oil all over the potatoes, then rub each with salt until well coated.
6. Put the sweet potatoes onto the prepared baking sheet and arrange them in a single layer.
7. Put the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake the potatoes for about 45 minutes or until fork-tender.
8. Remove the potatoes from the oven and allow them to rest for a few minutes at room temperature.
9. Serve with your favorite toppings. Enjoy!
Microwave Method:
1. Repeat steps 1 to 5.
2. Wrap the potatoes with a damp towel.
3. Place them in the microwave and cook for about 5 to 10 minutes on a high setting. Make sure to flip them halfway through the cooking time.
