Ingredients:
1 1/2 lb flank steak thinly sliced against the grain
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp corn starch
1 tbsp Water
1/4 tsp baking soda
3 c broccoli florets
1 tbsp canola oil
For The Sauce:
1/4 c soy sauce low sodium
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp oyster sauce
6 cloves garlic minced
1 tbsp fresh ginger grated
1 tbsp toasted sesame oil
1/2 c beef broth
2 tsp cornstarch
Directions:
Step 1: Slice the flank steak into thin cuts.
Step 2: Add the oyster sauce, 1 tablespoon cornstarch, 1/4 teaspoon baking soda, 1 tablespoon water, meat slices, and 1/4 teaspoon baking soda. Toss until the meat slices are well coated.
Step 3: In a mixing bowl, add all the ingredients for the sauce and whisk until well mixed.
Step 4: Place a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high.
Step 5: Add 1 tablespoon of canola oil and allow it to become hot.
Step 6: Add the coated flank steak cuts and cook for about 3 minutes or until they turn brown.
Step 7: Add the sauce and broccoli. Toss until well coated.
Step 8: Cover the skillet and cook for about 3 minutes or until the broccoli turns light green.
Step 9: Remove the skillet from the heat and stir until well mixed.
Step 10: Serve and enjoy!
