I highly recommend you add a generous amount of it because after all, it is called pineapple cake. Another reason is that sometimes, you won’t need more sugar in it because the natural sweetness of pineapple is more than enough for this cake. 2 cups flour
2 cups white sugar
2 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 can(s) (20 ounces) crushed pineapple
1 can(s) (16-ounces size) readymade cream cheese frosting
Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, add the sugar, flour, eggs, baking soda, crushed pineapple with juice, and vanilla. Stir until well mixed.
Step 3: Apply cooking spray in a baking pan.
Step 4: Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly on the bottom.
Step 5: Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for 45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean after inserting it in the middle of the cake.
Step 6: Remove from the oven and place it on a wire rack to cool at room temperature.
Step 7: Spread the cream cheese frosting over the cooled cake.
Step 8: Serve and enjoy!
