These delicious pork chops are superb! The sauce alone will surely make you very satisfied! Feel free to add more ingredients if you prefer. I have tried adding chilli powder once, and it was divine! Ingredients:
15 ounces (430g) centre-cut boneless pork chops (3 pork chops)
salt
ground black pepper
1 tbsp vegetable oil
2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp chopped Italian parsley, for garnishing
HONEY SAUCE:
2 1/2 tbsp honey
2 tbsp warm water
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp apple cider vinegar
3 dashes of cayenne pepper
Directions:
Step 1: Season both sides of the pork chops with salt and pepper.
Step 2: In a mixing bowl, add all of the Honey Garlic Sauce ingredients. Stir until well mixed.
Step 3: Place a cast-iron skillet on the stove and turn the heat to high.
Step 4: Add butter and oil, then allow them to melt/become hot.
Step 5: Add the pork chops and sear each side for 4 minutes or until brown.
Step 6: Shove the pork chops on one side and add the rest of the butter in the middle of the skillet.
Step 7: Add the garlic and sauté for 10 seconds or until aromatic.
Step 8: Pour in the Honey Garlic Sauce and stir until well blended.
Step 9: Cook the sauce until thick and brown.
Step 10: Coat the pork chops with the delicious sauce.
Step 11: Remove from the heat to a serving plate.
Step 12: Sprinkle parsley on top.
Step 13: Serve hot and enjoy!
