Ingredients:
15 ounces (430g) centre-cut boneless pork chops (3 pork chops)
salt
ground black pepper
1 tbsp vegetable oil
2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp chopped Italian parsley, for garnishing
HONEY SAUCE:
2 1/2 tbsp honey
2 tbsp warm water
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp apple cider vinegar
3 dashes of cayenne pepper
Directions:
Step 1: Season with salt and pepper the pork chops on all sides.
Step 2: In a mixing bowl, add all the ingredients for the Honey Garlic Sauce. Stir until well mixed.
Step 3: Place a cast-iron skillet on the stove and turn the heat to high.
Step 4: Add vegetable oil and 1 tablespoon of butter, then allow them to become hot/melt.
Step 5: Add the pork chops and sear for 3 minutes on each side or until brown.
Step 6: Move the pork chops on the left side of the skillet, then add the rest of the butter and allow it to melt.
Step 7: Add the garlic and sauté for about 10 seconds or until aromatic.
Step 8: Reduce the heat to low and add the sauce. Stir and cook until thick and brown.
Step 9: Toss everything until well mixed.
Step 10: Remove the skillet from the heat and sprinkle freshly chopped parsley on top.
Step 11: Serve hot over rice and enjoy!
