This Breakfast Casserole is superb! if you have a massive hangover, try eating this, and I promise you that it is worth it! I can’t think of anything else to say about this, but just perfect! Yes, it is. Well, you just have to try and taste it yourself. Have a great one, friends. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
1/4 c butter
8 ounces diced ham, break up any clumps
1 (20 ounces) pkg. refrigerated shredded hash browns
1 c shredded Swiss cheese
1 1/2 c half and half
12 large Eggs
1 c shredded medium or sharp cheddar cheese
2 1/2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
1/3 c chopped green onions
Salt and pepper, to taste
Directions:
1. Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
2. Apply cooking spray in a 13×9-inch baking dish.
3. Place a non-stick skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
4. Add butter and allow it to melt.
5. Add the hashbrowns into the melted butter, then sprinkle salt and pepper to season.
6. Cook one side of the hashbrowns for about 6 minutes, then flip them and cook the other side for another 3 minutes.
7. Transfer the hashbrowns into the greased baking dish.
8. Meanwhile, add the eggs into a mixing bowl. Beat until creamy.
9. Add the Swiss, ham, half & half, green onions, parsley, cheddar cheese, salt, and pepper. Stir until well mixed.
10. Pour the mixture on top of the hashbrowns and spread it evenly.
11. Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for about 40 to 50 minutes or until done.
12. Remove from the oven and allow them to cool for a few minutes at room temperature.
13. Slice into even pieces.
14. Serve and enjoy!
Notes:
Feel free to make this the night before. Just cover and place the hashbrowns inside the fridge. Bake in the morning. Just add about 10 minutes for the cooking time.
