Ingredients:
1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, at room temperature
½ c powdered sugar
¾ c salted butter softened
¾ c white sugar
¾ c firmly packed light brown sugar
2 large Eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 ¼ c all-purpose flour
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
¾ tsp salts
1 (12 oz) package semisweet chocolate chips
Directions:
Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Step 2: Line with parchment paper 3 baking sheets.
Step 3: In a small mixing bowl, add the powdered sugar and cream cheese. Beat until well blended, then place it inside the fridge to chill.
Step 4: Add butter, brown sugar, and white sugar in a stand mixer. Beat for about 2 minutes until well mixed.
Step 5: Add the eggs and vanilla extract. Beat for another 30 seconds until well mixed.
Step 6: In another mixing bowl, add 2 tablespoons of flour, salt, and baking soda. Stir until well mixed.
Step 7: Add the chocolate chips and beat until combined.
Step 8: Place it inside the fridge for 30 minutes to chill.
Step 9: Scoop the cookies onto the lined baking sheets. Make sure to leave about 3-inches of space between each cookie.
Step 10: Add 2 teaspoons of cream cheese in the middle of every cookie.
Step 11: Wrap each dough all over the cream cheese and form it into a ball, then gently press.
Step 12: Place the first batch of cookies inside the preheated oven and bake for 14 minutes or until golden brown.
Step 13: Remove from the oven and allow them to cool at room temperature. Repeat this process to the rest of the cookies.
Step 14: Serve and enjoy!
