This Cheesy Potato Breakfast Casserole is a total crowd-pleaser! Serve this for breakfast with your constants, and I am sure that they are going to love it! Ingredients:
20 oz. bag frozen Diced Hash Browns
8 oz. brick of Mild Cheddar Cheese, grated
1/2 c milk
1 lb. Italian Sausage, cooked
Salt & Pepper, to taste
1 yellow onion, chopped, sauteed in sausage grease
7 Eggs
Directions:
1. Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
2. Apply cooking spray to a 9×13-inch casserole dish.
3. Place a skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
4. Add the sausage, then cook until crumbly and brown.
5. Add the onions, then sauté until translucent. Remove from the heat.
6. Transfer the sausage and onions into a large bowl.
7. Add the eggs, cheddar cheese (set aside 1 cup for later use), milk, hash browns, salt, and pepper into the bowl with the sausage and onions. Stir everything until well mixed.
8. Transfer the mixture to the prepared casserole dish and spread it evenly.
9. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake the casserole for about 35 minutes.
10. Sprinkle the reserved cheese on top. Bake for another 8 minutes or until the cheese turns golden brown.
11. Remove the casserole from the oven and allow it to cool for about 15 minutes at room temperature.
12. Serve warm and enjoy!
