Ingredients:
2 tbsp butter, melted
12 small flour tortillas
1 lb. of ground beef
1 c cheddar cheese, shredded
8 oz. cream cheese, room temp
1 packet of taco seasoning
sour cream, salsa, tomatoes, etc. for garnish
½ c salsa
Directions:
Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Apply cooking spray to a cookie sheet.
Place a skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high. Add the ground beef, then cook for a few minutes until crumbly and brown.
Open the pack of taco seasoning, then add it to the skillet with the ground beef. Stir and cook for a few more minutes.
In a mixing bowl, add cream cheese and beat until the texture becomes smooth.
Add the salsa, then stir until well incorporated.
Place a tortilla onto a flat surface, then add salsa in the middle and spread it evenly.
Add a spoonful of ground beef over the salsa mixture, followed by shredded cheese. Fold and form it into a burrito.
Repeat the process with the rest of the ingredients.
Place the burritos onto the prepared cookie sheet and arrange them in a single layer.
Spread melted butter over each burrito.
Place the cookie sheet in the preheated oven and bake the burritos for about 15 minutes or until they turn golden brown.
Remove the burritos from the oven and allow them to rest for a few minutes at room temperature.
Top with your favorite taco toppings.
