Ingredients:
1 can whole kernel corn (15 oz.) drained
1 medium sweet onion chopped
1 ½ lb. ground beef
2 ½ c shredded cheddar cheese
3-5 cloves garlic minced
1 bag frozen tater tots the flat circle kind
1 can cream of mushroom (10.5 oz.)
½ c milk
¼ c sour cream
Directions:
1. Prepare the oven and preheat to 190 degrees C or 375 degrees F.
2. Place a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
3. Add the ground beef, then cook until crumbly and brown.
4. Add the garlic and onion, then sauté until aromatic and soft. Discard any excess grease and remove it from the heat.
5. Add milk, sour cream, and cream soup into a mixing bowl. Stir until well blended.
6. Add the ground beef mixture, 1 1/2 cups of cheese, and corn. Stir until well combined.
7. Apply cooking spray in a 9×13-inch baking dish.
8. Arrange the tater tots into the prepared baking dish.
9. Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking dish on top of the tater tots.
10. Add the rest of the tater tots over the meat layer.
11. Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for about 20 to 25 minutes or until done.
12. Remove from the oven and sprinkle the rest of the cheese over the top.
13. Put it back inside the oven and bake for another 20 minutes or until the top turns golden brown.
14. Remove from the oven and allow it to rest for a few minutes at room temperature.
15. Serve and enjoy!
