A big thanks to my very good friend, Morrison, for this spectacular recipe! I never would have tasted perfection if it wasn’t for you! These Chicken Alfredo Roll-ups are so good that this was my fifth time to bake them this week! Oh, man, you are so in for a treat! Try this recipe now and I promise you that it is worth all your time and effort. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
1 pound cooked shredded chicken
14.5 ounces jar Garlic Alfredo Sauce
9 lasagna noodles
2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1/2 teaspoon oregano
Directions:
1. Apply cooking spray in an 8×8-inch baking pan.
2. Add 1/2 cup of the Alfredo sauce into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
3. Place a large pot with salted water on the stove and turn the heat to high. Allow the water to boil.
4. Add the lasagna noodles and cook until al dente. Drain and rinse with cold water to stop the cooking process.
5. Meanwhile, add 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, 1 cup of Alfredo sauce, oregano, chicken, salt, and garlic into a large mixing bowl. Stir until well combined.
6. Top each lasagna noodle with the chicken mixture, then roll until and seal the edges. Repeat the process with the rest of the ingredients.
7. Arrange them Chicken Alfredo Roll-ups into the prepared baking pan.
8. Pour the remaining Alfredo sauce on top of the roll-ups.
9. Sprinkle a generous amount of cheese on top.
10. Place the roll-ups inside the preheated oven and bake for about 30 minutes or until done.
11. Remove from the oven and allow them to rest for a few minutes at room temperature.
12. Serve and enjoy!
Notes:
Feel free to make these roll-ups the night before. Place them inside the fridge and bake in the morning. Just make sure to add 15 minutes of cooking time.
