Ingredients:
2 large bananas mashed (about 1 c)
¼ c sour cream/yoghurt
2 large Eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ c brown sugar
½ c granulated sugar
2 c all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
½ c (4 oz, 120ml) unsalted melted butter (replace with oil)
1 c (175 grams) chocolate chips
Directions:
Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Step 2: Apply cooking spray in a loaf pan.
Step 3: Add the eggs, sugar, sour cream, mashed bananas, and vanilla into a small mixing bowl. Stir until well mixed.
Step 4: In a separate mixing bowl, add baking powder, flour, salt, and baking soda. Stir until well mixed.
Step 5: Transfer the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients gradually. Whisk until well combined.
Step 6: Add the melted butter and stir until well mixed.
Step 7: Add the chocolate chips and stir until well combined.
Step 8: Transfer the mixture into the greased pan and spread it evenly.
Step 9: Place the loaf pan inside the preheated oven and bake for 1 hour or until a toothpick comes out clean after inserting it in the middle.
Step 10: Remove the bread from the oven and let it sit at room temperature to cool for at least 10 minutes.
Step 11: Serve warm and enjoy!
