Christmas may be over but these heavenly treats work pretty much any time of the year! The rich garlic-butter is what I love the most about this recipe. It complements well with the breadsticks. Ingredients:
12 ounces Frozen chopped spinach thawed and squeezed dry
6 ounces cream cheese softened
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp chilli powder
1/4 tsp pepper
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 c grated parmesan cheese
1 c grated cheddar OR mozzarella cheese
1 tube refrigerated thin crust pizza crust
2 tbsp butter
1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp garlic salt
Directions:
Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 200 degrees C or 400 degrees F.
Step 2: Add the cream cheese and spinach into a medium mixing bowl. Beat until well mixed.
Step 3: Add the onion powder, garlic, Italian seasoning, chilli powder, salt, and pepper. Beat until well blended.
Step 4: Add 1/2 of cheddar cheese and parmesan cheese. Beat until well mixed.
Step 5: Create a Christmas tree out of the mixture.
Step 6: Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for 22 minutes or until golden brown.
Step 7: Place the butter in a microwavable bowl and place it inside the microwave. Heat for a few minutes until melted.
Step 8: Remove from the microwave and add the seasoning and garlic salt. Stir until well blended.
Step 9: Remove the breadsticks from the oven.
Step 10: Brush each breadstick with the garlic-butter mixture.
Step 11: Serve and enjoy!
