Do you want to have the easiest dinner recipe? Worry no more because this recipe that I am sharing with you today is not only easy to cook but it is also very delicious! You will also be needing basic ingredients for this and six easy steps that will guide you to perfection! By the way, you can eat this with burger bun or fried rice. Yes, you read it right. I serve this over rice sometimes and it is awesome! Give it a try and taste it yourself. Enjoy!
1 cup ketchup
1 cup of water
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon cider vinegar
¼ cup sweet pickle relish
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 pinch ground black pepper
1 pinch garlic salt
½ teaspoon liquid smoke flavouring
1-pound chopped ham
6 roll (blank)s hamburger buns
Step 1: Place a large saucepan on the stove and add-in water, ketchup, cider vinegar, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and sweet pickle relish. Stir until well mixed.
Step 2: Add black pepper, liquid smoke, cinnamon, and garlic salt to taste. Stir until well combined.
Step 3: Simmer for 20 minutes on low heat.
Step 4: In a small mixing bowl, shred the ham. Transfer the shredded ham into the saucepan. Simmer for another 20 minutes or until you achieve your desired doneness.
Step 5: Remove from the heat and let it sit for at least 5 minutes to cool.
Step 6: Serve this over the hamburger buns. Enjoy!
You can place the leftover inside the freezer. Place it in a resealable bag to maintain its freshness.
