This recipe has always been a part of my family since I was a little kid. I remember my grandma used to make this all the time! You should have seen her worked around the kitchen. Oh, man, she was a wizard! I am so grateful to her for a lot of things including this Corn on the Cob in the Oven! Now, I get to share it with you as well. How awesome is that? I have listed all the ingredients and directions so all you have to do is to follow them step by step and you are good to go! Feel free to add more ingredients if you prefer. Ingredients:
1 stick (8 tbsp) unsalted butter, room temperature
8 ears corn, cleaned
fresh ground black pepper, to taste
kosher salt, to taste
Directions:
1. Prepare the oven and preheat to 200 degrees C or 400 degrees F.
2. Line with aluminium foil on a baking sheet.
3. Arrange the corn onto the prepared baking sheet. Set aside half of the butter.
4. Spread the reserved butter all over the corn.
5. Season each corn with salt and pepper.
6. Place them inside the preheated oven and bake for about 45 minutes or until they turn brown. Make sure to flip the corn from time to time.
7. Remove the corn from the oven, then season with more salt and pepper if needed.
8. Serve hot and enjoy!
Note:
Feel free to add cayenne pepper if you prefer.
