¼ c mayonnaise
¼ c mustard
1 pinch cayenne pepper
1 (8 oz) loaf Cuban bread
8 slices Swiss cheese
6 thin slices smoked fully-cooked ham
1 ½ c cooked pulled pork, heated
1 large dill pickle, sliced thinly lengthwise
2 tbsp butter, or as needed
Step 1: In a mixing bowl, add the mustard, mayonnaise, and cayenne. Stir until well combined.
Step 2: Discard the ends of the bread, then slice it into two and divide each slice to make 2 sandwiches.
Step 3: Spread the mayonnaise mixture on the bottom of each sandwich.
Step 4: Top each sandwich with 2 slices of Swiss cheese, 3 slices o ham, pickles, cooked pork, and 2 slices of Swiss cheese. Repeat this process to the second sandwich.
Step 5: Place a skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Step 6: Add butter and allow it to melt.
Step 7: Add the sandwiches and toast for 4 minutes on each side or until they turn crispy on the bottom and edges.
Step 8: Place the sandwiches onto a clean plate.
Step 9: Serve and enjoy!
