Ingredients:
1- 8 OUNCES PACKAGE OF PHILLY CREAM CHEESE (SOFTENED)
1/4 C OF LIGHT BROWN SUGAR
2 CRESCENT ROLL TUBES
1 TEASPOON LEMON JUICE
1 TSP PURE VANILLA EXTRACT
2 TABLESPOONS BUTTER (FULLY MELTED)
1/2 C OF REGULAR WHITE SUGAR
GLAZE:
1 TSP PURE VANILLA EXTRACT
4 TSP OF MILK
1/2 C POWDERED SUGAR
Directions:
1. Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
2. Add lemon juice, cream cheese, white sugar, and pure vanilla into a mixing bowl. Stir until well mixed.
3. Slice the unrolled crescent roll into thick round pieces.
4. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
5. Arrange the roll slices onto the prepared cookie sheet.
6. Make a wall on the sides of the rolls with your fingers.
7. In a mixing bowl, add 1/4 cup of light brown sugar and melted butter. Stir until well blended.
8. Brush the top of each roll with the butter mixture.
9. Fill each roll with the filling.
10. Place them inside the preheated oven and bake for about 8 minutes or until the top turns golden brown.
11. Remove from the oven and allow them to cool for a few minutes at room temperature.
To Make the Glaze:
1. Add all the ingredients for the glaze into a mixing bowl. Stir until well blended.
2. Drizzle the glaze over the Danishes.
3. Top each with blueberry or cherry.
4. Serve and enjoy!
