This Crispy Cheddar Chicken will surely make your day extra special! Don’t skip on this recipe. I promise you that it is worth all your time and effort! Ingredients:
Chicken:
1/2 cup milk
4 large chicken breasts
3 cups cheddar cheese, grated
2 sleeves Ritz crackers
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
Sauce:
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons sour cream
1 10 oz. can cream of chicken soup
Directions:
1. Prepare the oven and preheat to 400 degrees F or 200 degrees C.
2. Slice to about 3 large pieces each chicken breast.
3. Add the Ritz crackers into a food processor, then pulse until ground.
4. Fill 3 bowls with milk, cheese, and grounded cracker crumbs.
5. Season the cracker crumbs with salt and pepper.
6. Coat each chicken piece with milk, cheese, and crumbs. Shake off any excess.
7. Apply cooking spray in a 9×13-inch baking pan.
8. Arrange the chicken pieces into the prepared baking pan.
9. Sprinkle dried parsley on top of the chicken pieces. Cover the chicken with tin foil.
10. Place the chicken inside the preheated oven and bake for about 35 minutes.
11. Remove the foil cover, then bake for another 10 minutes or until golden brown.
12. Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for a few minutes.
13. Meanwhile, place a saucepan on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
14. Add the sour cream, butter, and cream of chicken soup. Stir until well blended. Allow it to boil.
15. Serve the chicken with a delicious sauce. Enjoy!
