This chicken recipe is a must-try! If you are a huge fan of cheesy dishes, then, you have got to taste this! Feel free to add more ingredients if you want. Enjoy!
3 qt cold water
⅓ c balsamic vinegar
¼ c salt
1 bay leaf
1 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp dried rosemary
8 cloves garlic, minced
1 pinch salt
3 tbsp olive oil, or as needed
1 tbsp freshly ground black pepper
2 tsp red pepper flakes, or to taste
4 lbs chicken wings, separated at joints, tips discarded
2 tbsp fine bread crumbs
1 c finely grated Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, divided
Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 230 degrees C or 450 degrees F.
Step 2: Line with foil a baking sheet and apply with cooking spray.
Step 3: In a large pot, add the vinegar, water, bay leaf, thyme, 1/4 cup salt, rosemary, and oregano.
Step 4: Place it on the stove and turn the heat to high, then allow the mixture to boil.
Step 5: Add the chicken wings and cook for about 15 minutes.
Step 6: Remove the chicken wings and allow them to cool for at least 15 minutes.
Step 7: Mash garlic, salt, and pepper in a mortar.
Step 8: In a large mixing bowl, add the mashed garlic, olive oil, red pepper flakes, and black pepper. Stir until well mixed.
Step 9: Coat the chicken wings with bread crumbs.
Step 10: Sprinkle the coated chicken generously with the Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, then arrange them onto the baking dish.
Step 11: Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes or until done.
Step 12: Serve and enjoy!
