This awesome recipe was given to me by my dear friend, Abigail. I am so glad that I gave it a try because I never would have tasted perfection! Oh, man, you have got to give this one a try! I have listed all the ingredients and directions so all you have to do is to follow them step by step and you are good to go! Feel free to tweak the recipe to your liking. Ingredients:
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
2 tbsp butter melted, divided
1 – 10 3/4 oz can cream of chicken soup or make your own
1 – 8 oz block cream cheese cubed
1/2 c chicken broth
1 – one-oz package dry ranch dressing packet
1/2 tsp minced garlic
1/2 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp dried parsley flakes
1/8 tsp dried oregano
Directions:
1. Prepare the chicken breasts by removing the bones, skin, and washing them.
2. Arrange the prepared chicken breasts into a crockpot.
3. Add the dry ranch dressing and paprika over the chicken breasts.
4. Add melted butter on top, then cover the pot with a lid. Cook for about 4 hours on low heat.
5. Place a saucepan on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
6. Add the rest of the butter and allow it to melt.
7. Add the garlic and saute until aromatic.
8. Add the cream of chicken soup, 1/2 cup chicken broth, cream cheese cubes, dried parsley, and oregano. Stir until well combined. Simmer for a few minutes.
9. Transfer the mixture into the pot. Stir until well blended.
10. Cook everything for another 2 hours.
11. Serve and enjoy!
