This recipe has always been a part of my family since I was little. My dad used to make these Baked Hamburgers all the time! I am so grateful to him for giving me this recipe because now, I get to share it with you! I have listed all the ingredients and directions so all you have to do is to follow them step by step and you are good to go! You are more than welcome to add more ingredients if you wish. Ingredients:
8 tbsp butter Cheddar cheese divided
1 lb. 85% lean ground beef
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
4 small sourdough rolls or ciabatta sliced
8 slices medium
2 tsp garlic salt
freshly ground black pepper
Directions:
1. Prepare the oven and preheat to broil. Put the baking rack in the centre of the oven.
2. Line with aluminium foil on a baking sheet.
3. Shape the ground beef into 8 even parts. Arrange them onto the prepared baking sheet.
4. Score twice the top of each burger patty in a crisscross pattern.
5. Top each patty with a drizzle of Worcestershire sauce.
6. Sprinkle garlic salt and pepper on top of each patty to season.
7. Top each with 1 tbsp of butter as well.
8. Place the patties inside the preheated oven and broil for about 10 minutes or until cooked to your preference.
9. Top each patty with a slice of cheese, then put them back inside the oven and broil for another 2 minutes or until the cheese has melted completely.
10. Serve right away and enjoy!
Note:
Cook for a few more minutes if you want a well-done burger.
