S’mores pretty much all the time is what I want! I know you do too so try this recipe now. Enjoy!
9 graham cracker sheets
2 c mini marshmallows
2 c chocolate chips, or 8 oz baking chocolate, divided
2 large Eggs
2 teaspoons oil
1 1/2 c milk
2 1/4 c all-purpose flour
6 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
Frying & Serving:
1 qt vegetable oil, for frying
powdered sugar, optional for serving
For the S’mores:
Step 1: Line with parchment paper an 8×8-inch baking pan.
Step 2: Put the graham cracker into the pan and arrange them on the bottom.
Step 3: In a microwavable bowl, add 1 cup of chocolate chips. Place it inside the microwave and heat until smooth.
Step 4: Drizzle 1/3 of the melted chocolate over the graham crackers in the pan, with chocolate chips, melted chocolate, marshmallows, then melted chocolate.
Step 5: Top everything with graham crackers, then put the pan inside the fridge to chill for at least 10 minutes.
To Make the Batter:
Step 1: Place a medium saucepan on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Step 2: In a medium mixing bowl, add the milk, eggs, and oil. Whisk until well combined.
Step 3: In another mixing bowl, add baking powder, flour, sugar, and salt. Whisk until well mixed.
Step 4: Transfer the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients. Stir until well mixed.
Step 1: Slice the s’mores into 36 pieces.
Step 2: Put the s’mores into the batter and toss until wee coated.
Step 3: Drop the s’mores into the hot oil and fry for about 1 minute or until golden brown.
Step 4: Place the fried s’mores onto a clean plate lined with paper towels.
Step 5: Sprinkle powdered sugar over the fried s’mores.
Step 6: Serve and enjoy!
