These heavenly treats have been the highlight of my day! Oh, man, give this recipe a try and you are so in for a treat! Serve these bad boys warm with a nice cup of coffee or cocoa and you have yourself a snack to remember! Feel free to add more ingredients if you wish and make sure to adjust the serving if you are having guests over. I am 100 per cent sure that they are going to love these doughnuts! 1/2 c granulated sugar
1 tbsp ground cinnamon
1 (16.3-ounce) can flaky large biscuits, such as Pillsbury Grands! Flaky Biscuits
Olive oil spray or coconut oil spray
4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
Step 1: Line with parchment paper a baking sheet.
Step 2: In a small mixing bowl, add the cinnamon and sugar. Whisk until well combined.
Step 3: Open the can of biscuits. Remove and separate them.
Step 4: Arrange the biscuits onto the prepared baking sheet.
Step 5: Punch holes in the middle of each biscuit with a biscuit cutter.
Step 6: Apply olive oil or coconut oil onto the air fryer.
Step 7: Arrange 4 doughnuts into the greased air fryer.
Step 8: Seal the air fryer and turn the heat to about 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Step 9: Cook the doughnuts for about 5 minutes or until golden brown. Make sure to flip the doughnuts in the middle of cooking time. Repeat this process to the rest of the doughnuts.
Step 10: Place the warm doughnuts on a clean serving plate, then brush each with melted butter.
Step 11: Drop the doughnuts into the bowl with the cinnamon-sugar mixture. Make sure to coat all sides.
Step 12: Serve warm and enjoy!
