This is the perfect comfort food after a stressful day of work. I usually serve this with steamed or fried rice. Oh man, it’s the best! Make sure to follow the cooking time for a tender, melts in your mouth beef! The sauce alone of this stew is more than enough to satisfy your cravings, let alone feed your soul. The potatoes and carrots? They taste incredible because they are boiled to perfection with the sauce. You have got to give this recipe a try! Feel free to add more ingredients if you prefer. 1 ½ pound beef stew meat, cut into cubes
3 large potatoes, cut into cubes
1-pound carrots, cut into 3/4-inch chunks
1 large onion, chopped
1 (10.5 ounces) can cream of mushroom soup
1 (8 ounces) can tomato sauce
1 (1 ounce) package dry onion soup mix
1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
Step 1: Prepare a slow cooker.
Step 2: Add the potatoes, beef, carrots, and onion.
Step 3: In a small mixing bowl, add the tomato sauce, onion soup mix, cream of mushroom soup, and pepper. Stir until well mixed.
Step 4: Transfer the mixture into the slow cooker with the beef mixture.
Step 5: Turn to a low setting and cook for 6 to 8 hours.
Step 6: Spoon the beef stew into a serving bowl.
Step 7: Serve and enjoy!
