These little wonders will surely make your day extra special! I have recently learned how to make them with the help of my best friend. It was the best day ever. We talked, cooked, and baked the whole day. These Rolls were the best among the rest of the recipes we tried that day. It is very simple and easy to make yet very delicious! It is perfect with cocoa or hot coffee. It is also perfect on rainy days! Oh boy, I wish today is raining. The soft and buttery taste of these rolls will surely melt your heart. If you wish to add more ingredients, feel free to do so. For example, you can add chocolate chips for additional flavor. It is also the best with these rolls. Anyway, I hope you all love this recipe. INGREDIENTS
1 cup of warm water
1 pkg. active dry yeast
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons softened butter (or non-dairy equivalent)
1 egg, beaten
3 1/2-4 cups flour
How to make Easy Big Fat Yeast Rolls
Step 1: In a large mixing bowl, add the yeast and pour water followed with the rest of the ingredients.
Step 2: Beat until blended and it forms a dough.
Step 3: Add in 3 1/2 cups of flour and beat until the dough becomes soft.
Step 4: Place the dough onto a board with a little flour on it.
Step 5: Knead until it becomes smooth.
Step 6: Transfer the dough into a greased mixing bowl. Wrap with plastic and let it rise for 45 minutes.
Step 7: Place it on the floured board and flatten it out.
Step 8: Roll the dough into 12 shapes then place them in a greased 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
Step 9: Leave it for another 30 minutes to rise.
Step 10: Place inside the oven and bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees on until the top becomes golden brown.
Step 11: Remove the rolls from the oven and let it sit on a wire rack.
Step 12: Brush with butter the top of the rolls.
Step 13: Serve and enjoy!
