This recipe was recommended to me by my very good friend, Abi. I am so glad that I gave it a try because it turned out to be the perfect dish I served today! You have to try this recipe, I’m telling you! It is worth the wait. In 2 hours, you and your loved ones are going to enjoy these Easy-Oven Baked Chicken Breasts! Ingredients:
1.5 pounds chicken breasts and/or thighs (bone-in and skin on)
3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
2 tbsp olive oil
juice from 1 lemon
juice from 1 orange
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
salt and freshly cracked pepper, to taste
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
Directions:
1. Add all the ingredients aside from the chicken into a large mixing bowl. Stir until well blended.
2. Add the chicken into the bowl and toss until well coated by the marinade. Let the chicken marinate for at least an hour.
3. Prepare the oven and preheat to 190 degrees C or 375 degrees F.
4. Arrange the marinated chicken into a baking pan with the bone side facing down.
5. Spread a bit of the marinade over each chicken breast.
6. Season with more Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper on top.
7. Place the baking pan inside the preheated oven and bake the chicken breasts for about 55 minutes or until done.
8. Remove from the oven and cover the chicken breasts with foil. Let them rest for at least 5 minutes at room temperature.
9. Serve and enjoy!
Note:
Feel free to use chicken thighs for this recipe instead of chicken breasts.
