French Toast Fold-Over

Yield: 1 Serving

This French toast is the best snack you will ever have today! Serve this with a cold iced tea and you have yourself the treat to remember! Feel free to add more ingredients if you want. Have a wonderful day, friends. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

3 Eggs
¼ c milk
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 slices SASKO More Slices White Bread
3 tablespoons butter, softened
2 slices sandwich ham
1/3 c grated cheese
½ spring onion, sliced
Serving Suggestion:
Tomato sauce
Chopped fresh parsley and chives

Directions:

Step 1: In a medium mixing bowl, add in the milk and eggs. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then whisk until well combined.

Step 2: Spread butter on the sides of two sliced bread.

Step 3: Place a large pan on the stove and turn the heat to medium.

Step 4: Add in 1 tablespoon of butter and allow it to melt.

Step 5: Add in the egg mixture.

Step 6: Place the two sliced bread on top of the omelette. Make sure that the bread slices soak the egg mixture.

Step 7: Flip the omelette as well as the bread and toast the bottom of the omelette for 1 minute or until golden brown.

Step 8: Flip the sides of the egg onto the sliced bread.

Step 9: Place the ham on top of the sliced bread.

Step 10: Sprinkle a generous amount of grated cheese and spring onions on top.

Step 11: Form a sandwich out of the bread slices.

Step 12: Cook for 40 to 60 seconds more on both sides.

Step 13: Place the omelette sandwich on a serving plate.

Step 14: Sprinkle chopped fresh herbs on top of the omelette sandwich.

Step 15: Serve and enjoy!

Note:

You can serve this omelette sandwich with tomato sauce dip.
