Ingredients:
1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
4 tbsp melted butter – use ghee if you’re doing whole30.
2 cloves garlic – minced
2 medium-sized pork chops – (I like to recommend pork chops from ButcherBox because it’s heritage breed pork)
1 tbsp fresh thyme – chopped
salt and pepper
Directions:
1. Prepare the oven and preheat to 190 degrees C or 375 degrees F.
2. Sprinkle salt and pepper all over the pork chops, then rub each until well coated.
3. Add butter, garlic, and thyme into a mixing bowl. Stir until well combined.
4. Place a cast-iron skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
5. Add olive oil and allow it to become hot.
6. Add the pork chops and sear each side for 2 minutes or until they turn golden brown.
7. Add the garlic-butter mixture on top of the seared pork chops.
8. Remove the skillet from the stove and transfer it inside the preheated oven. Bake the pork chops for about 10 to 14 minutes or until done.
9. Remove the pork chops from the oven and spoon the sauce over.
10. Serve and enjoy!
