I love quick and easy recipes like this Garlic Parmesan Pork Chop. All you need are just a couple of pantry staples. The pork chops always come out juicy, tender, and delicious. For a complete meal, serve this with your favorite veggies on the side.
The crispy Parmesan crust of these pork chops is to die for! Each bite of these delicious, juicy pork chops will make your mouth water. Pan-searing the chops not only gives them color but makes the chops extra flavorful. I like pairing them with steamed green beans or a simple vegetable rice pilaf for a filling weeknight meal that my family asks for over and over again!
Ingredients
2 large eggs, beaten
6 boneless pork loin chops, about 1/2-inch thick
1 c. Italian breadcrumbs
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp Land O Lakes® Butter with Olive Oil & Sea Salt
salt and pepper
How to make Garlic Parmesan Pork Chop
Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 400 degrees F.
To taste, season the pork chops with salt and pepper. In a shallow dish, place the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, and garlic powder. Mix well until combined. In the beaten eggs, dip the pork chops. Then, dredge in the breadcrumb mixture, coating all sides.
Melt the butter in a cast-iron skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the pork chops and sear until both sides are golden brown.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 5 to 10 minutes or until the internal temperature of the chops reaches 140 degrees F.
Remove from the oven when done and allow the chops to rest for about 3 minutes before serving.
Note:
If desired, you can use thinly sliced chicken breast instead of pork and cook until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F.
