3/4 cup plus 2 tbsp granulated sugar
1 cup self-rising flour
1/4 cup plus 1/4 cup (1 stick) butter, melted
1 can(s) (28 oz) sliced peaches, undrained
Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Step 2: Apply cooking spray in an 8×11-inch baking dish.
Step 3: Add 3/4 cup of sugar, 1/4 cup of melted butter, and flour into a medium mixing bowl. Stir until well combined.
Step 4: Spread 1/3 of the mixture on the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
Step 5: Put the juice and peaches into the baking dish.
Step 6: Spread the rest of the flour mixture over the peaches.
Step 7: Sprinkle the rest of the sugar as well as the 1/4 cup of butter on top.
Step 8: Place the baking dish inside the preheated oven and bake for about 40 minutes or until done.
Step 9: Serve immediately and enjoy!
1. Place the sliced peaches inside the fridge to chill for at least 2 hours.
2. Feel free to mix these ingredients if you do not have a self-rising flour:
1 c all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
