Oh, man! I have never tried anything like this before! This recipe is a must-try! Feel free to add more ingredients if you prefer. I have listed all the ingredients and directions so all you need to do is to follow them step by step and you are good to go. Enjoy!
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 ½ c shredded pepper jack cheese
1 (4 oz) can dice green chile peppers, drained
1 tbsp dry fajita seasoning
Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Step 2: Apply cooking spray in a 9-inch baking dish.
Step 3: Slice the side of every chicken breast that resembles a pocket.
Step 4: Stuff each chicken breast with 1 tablespoon of chilis and 1/4 cup of cheese. Use a toothpick to seal each chicken breast.
Step 5: Arrange the stuffed chicken breasts into the prepared baking dish.
Step 6: Sprinkle Fajita seasoning and the rest of the cheese and chilis on top.
Step 7: Place the baking dish inside the preheated oven and bake for about 30 minutes or until done.
Step 8: Remove from the oven and allow the chicken to cool for a few minutes.
Step 9: Serve and enjoy!
