It’s almost movie night for me and my friends. I am so excited to let them taste this delicious White Queso Dip that I just discovered. Yesterday, I searched for recipes online and I have stumbled upon this awesome recipe. I tried it right away and I was blown away by how delicious it is! Next movie night, I would serve this with some tortilla chips. I am so confident that everyone is going to love it. You have got to give this a try as well. Ingredients:
8 ounces Pepper Jack cheese block
1 1/2 c heavy whipping cream
2 tablespoons butter
2 jalapenos
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
4 ounces sharp white cheddar cheese block
1 large red bell pepper
A pinch of cayenne pepper
Salt
1/4 c diced green onion
3 garlic cloves
Directions:
1. Prepare the cheeses and grate with a large grater.
2. Horizontally slice the jalapenos in half, then remove the seeds inside.
3. Mince the smashed garlic, then thinly slice the green onions and bell pepper.
4. Put a heavy pot on the stove and turn the heat to medium-low.
5. Add butter and let it melt completely.
6. Add the garlic and peppers, then sauté until aromatic and soft.
7. Sprinkle flour on top of the sauteed veggies. Toss until well coated.
8. Pour in the heavy whipping cream and whisk continuously until well blended.
9. Add the grated cheeses on top and stir until well blended.
10. Add the green onions, cayenne pepper, and a bit of salt. Stir until well combined.
11. Remove from the stove and transfer into a serving bowl.
12. Serve immediately with tortilla chips and enjoy!
