Ingredients:
BREAD PUDDING
2 cup whole milk
1/4 cup p butter, softened
1/3 cup sugar
3 Eggs
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
3 cups bread, torn into pieces (any bread, although French bread or raisin bread is great)
1/4 cup raisins
SAUCE
1 cup whole milk
2 Tablespoons butter, softened
1/3 cup sugar
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 Tablespoon flour
dash(es) salt
Directions:
1. Place a saucepan on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
2. Add milk and allow it to become hot.
3. Add butter and stir until well blended and melted.
4. In a mixing bowl, add eggs, cinnamon, vanilla, and sugar. Whisk until well combined.
5. Pour the mixture into the saucepan and stir until well mixed.
6. Remove the pan from the heat.
7. In a casserole dish, arrange the pieces of bread.
8. Spread the batter over the bread pieces.
9. Sprinkle raisins over the batter.
10. Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
11. Place the batter inside the preheated oven and bake for about 50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean after inserting it in the middle. Remove from the oven and allow it to cool while you make the sauce.
To Make the Sauce:
1. Place a saucepan on the stove, then add all the ingredients for the sauce. Stir until well combined.
2. Turn the heat t medium and allow the sauce to boil. Make sure to stir from time to time.
3. Pour the sauce over the pudding and spread it evenly.
4. Allow the pudding to cool completely at room temperature.
5. Serve and enjoy!
