Ingredients:
2 c cooked ham, diced
3 lbs. potatoes, peeled and sliced (about 8 to 10 potatoes)
2 c sharp cheddar cheese
1 can (10.75 ounces) condensed mushroom soup
2 onions, sliced
2 tbsp fresh parsley, finely minced (optional)
1/2 c milk
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Directions:
1. Prepare all the ingredients. Use a grater to grate the cheese.
2. Use a sharp knife to thinly slice the onions.
3. Slice the ham into small pieces.
4. Slice the peeled potatoes into 1/4-inch-thick pieces. Finely mince the parsley.
5. Add the grated cheese, onion slices, and ham slices into a mixing bowl. Stir until well mixed.
6. Arrange a layer of the potato slices into the bottom of the slow cooker.
7. Top the potatoes with the cheese mixture. Repeat the process until everything is arranged in layers.
8. In the same bowl, add the mushroom soup, 1/2 parsley, garlic salt, salt, and pepper. Stir until well mixed.
9. Cover the pot and cook for about 4 hours on a high setting.
10. Transfer the potatoes onto a serving plate, then let them rest for a few minutes at room temperature.
11. Garnish with the rest of the parsley.
