I am a huge fan of peanut butter ever since I was a kid! I am so glad that my Grandma taught me this incredible homemade peanut butter recipe because I never would have known that it was so easy to make such a delicious treat! Ingredients:
4 c unsalted and dry roasted peanuts
¾ – 1 teaspoon salt
Add-Ins optional:
Cinnamon
Cacao powder
Agave nectar or maple syrup
Pumpkin spice
Chopped peanuts
Coconut oil
Chocolate chips
Directions:
Step 1: Bake raw peanuts at 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F for 10 minutes if you do not have roasted peanuts yet.
Step 2: Transfer the roasted peanuts into a food processor as well as the salt. Pulse for 1 minute or until done.
Step 3: Make sure to scrape the bottom and sides of the food processor with a spatula.
Step 4: Add in your preferred optional flavours and pulse again until well blended.
Step 5: Transfer the peanut butter into a jar and you are good to go!
Notes:
1. For a lighter peanut butter flavour, use raw peanuts instead of roasted ones.
2. Feel free to use your preferred kind of salt for this recipe.
