This incredible dish is superb! The rich taste of cheese of this Chicken Parmesan will surely make you very satisfied!
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
cracked black pepper
4 garlic cloves pressed
1 1/2 c marinara sauce
1 tablespoon fresh minced basil
1 c shredded Mozzarella cheese
3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 tablespoons fresh minced basil
Step 1: Slice the chicken breasts into four thin cuts.
Step 2: Season with salt and pepper on both sides.
Step 3: Press the “sauté” button on the Instant Pot and allow it to become hot.
Step 4: Add the olive oil and the chicken cuts. Cook each side of the chicken until brown.
Step 5: Remove the chicken from the pot to a clean plate.
Step 6: Add the garlic and sauté for about a minute or until aromatic.
Step 7: Add the basil and marinara sauce. Stir until well combined and hot. Turn off the Instant Pot.
Step 8: Put the chicken back to the Instant Pot and toss until well coated with the sauce.
Step 9: Close the Instant Pot and cook for another 3 minutes on a low setting.
Step 10: Turn off and add a generous amount of Parmesan cheese, Mozzarella cheese, and basil on top.
Step 11: Seal the Instant Pot and allow the cheese to melt for about 5 minutes. Make sure not to turn it on.
Step 12: Serve warm and enjoy!
