This recipe for ribs is just pure happiness! A big thanks to my dear friend, Anita, for this incredible recipe. Oh, man, you are so in for a treat! Feel free to add more ingredients if you prefer. Ingredients:
3 pounds baby back ribs or pork loin ribs
6 c apple juice
¼ c apple cider vinegar
½ teaspoon liquid smoke optional
1 tablespoon seasoning salt (Johnny’s or Lawry’s)
2 tablespoons BBQ dry rub
2/3 c sweet BBQ sauce divided
Directions:
Step 1: Use paper towels to pat dry the ribs.
Step 2: Season all sides with dry ingredients.
Step 3: Add the vinegar, apple juice, 1/3 cup of barbecue sauce, and liquid smoke into the Instant Pot. Stir until well mixed.
Step 4: Arrange the ribs into the pot with the bone-side towards the middle.
Step 5: Cover the pot and cook for 25 minutes in a high setting.
Step 6: Do a natural release for about 10 minutes.
Step 7: Transfer the ribs into a lined rimmed baking sheet.
Step 8: Brush with the rest of the barbecue sauce over the top of each rib.
Step 9: Place the baking sheet inside the preheated oven and broil for 5 minutes or until done.
Step 10: Remove from the oven and allow the ribs to rest for about 10 minutes.
Step 11: Serve and enjoy!
