Key Lime Trifle

This Key Lime Trifle is just pure joy! You need this in your life! Talk about layers of delicious flavours in one trifle bowl! I have never tried anything like this before. I am so glad that I gave it a try because I never would have tasted perfection! Serve this on a hot day, and you have yourself a dessert to remember! Ingredients:

1 box Betty Crocker™ angel food cake mixes
The water called for on the cake mix box
2 cans (14 ounces each) sweetened condensed milk
1/2 c freshly squeezed Key lime juice
2 1/4 c whipping cream
10 Nature Valley™ oats ‘n honey crunchy granola bars (5 pouches from the 8.9-ounce box)
2 tsp grated Key lime peel
2 containers (8 ounces each) frozen extra-creamy whipped topping with real cream, thawed
2 bars (3.5 ounces each) good-quality white chocolate, coarsely chopped (do not use baking chocolate)

Directions:

Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.

Step 2: Refer to the directions provided on the package of the cake mix on how to bake it.

Step 3: Slice the cooled cake into even pieces.

Step 4: Add lime juice and condensed milk into a large mixing bowl. Whisk until well mixed.

Step 5: Add the whipping cream into a medium mixing bowl. Beat until it forms stiff peaks.

Step 6: Add the whipped cream into the bowl with the milk-lime mixture. Stir until well combined.

Step 7: Cover the bowl, then place it inside the fridge.

Step 8: Add the granola bars to the food processor, then pulse until processed.

Step 9: Add the lime peel and stir until well combined.

Step 10: Transfer the mime-cream mixture into a 3-quart glass trifle bowl.

Step 11: Top it with the ground granola bars, sliced white chocolate, and cake pieces.

Step 12: Repeat the process with the rest of the ingredients.

Step 13: Place it inside the fridge to chill for about an hour.

Step 14: Serve and enjoy!
