Ingredients:
1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
2 tbsp Whole Milk
2 tbsp Butter
1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
½ tsp Pepper
¼ c Breadcrumbs
4 Vidalia Onions – peeled, sliced
1 large egg
1 tsp dried Italian Seasoning
4 tbsp Flour
1 pound of Ground Beef
1 tsp salt
1 c Beef Broth
Salt/Pepper
1 c, Water
Directions:
1. In a mixing bowl, add milk, egg, ground beef, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, breadcrumbs, seasoning, and salt. Use your clean hands to mix everything until just blended.
2. Form 15 meatballs out of the meat mixture.
3. Put a large pan on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high.
4. Add oil and allow it to become hot.
5. Add the meatballs, then cook each side for a few minutes until they turn brown. Move the meatballs onto a clean plate.
6. In the same skillet, add the Vidalia onions and sauté until soft.
7. Add butter into the skillet and allow it to melt.
8. Gradually add the flour, then whisk every addition until well blended. Whisk and cook for about a minute to remove the raw taste.
9. Add the broth, water, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir until well blended.
10. Reduce the heat to medium-low, then simmer the mixture for a few minutes.
11. Add the meatballs back into the pan, then toss until well-coated with the delicious sauce. Cook for 15 more minutes. Sprinkle salt and pepper to taste. Remove from the heat.
12. Sprinkle freshly chopped parsley on top to garnish.
13. Serve right away over rice or mashed potatoes. Enjoy!
