This Meatloaf Patty Melt will surely make your day extra special! Oh, man, you are so in for a treat! It melts in your mouth in every bite! My only advice to you is to be very generous with the amount of cheese that you are going to add. Just do it and thank me later! Ingredients:
1 Egg
1 ¼ c saltine crackers
4 (6-inch) sub rolls
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
½ small onion minced
½ c milk
4 tbsp ketchup plus more for topping
1 lb. lean ground beef at least 90% lean
A tsp of salt & pepper to taste
½ tsp dried thyme
2 c shredded cheddar cheese
½ tsp garlic powder
Directions:
1. Prepare the oven and preheat to 225 degrees C or 450 degrees F.
2. Divide the spring rolls into two, then arrange them onto a baking sheet.
3. Add egg, ground beef, crushed crackers, 4 tbsp ketchup, onion, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, dried thyme, salt, and pepper into a mixing bowl. Stir until well mixed.
4. Spoon the meat mixture over each bun and spread it evenly.
5. Add ketchup over the meat mixture and spread it evenly.
6. Place them inside the preheated oven and bake for about 20 minutes or until done.
7. Remove from the oven and sprinkle a generous amount of shredded cheese over each bun.
8. Put them back inside the oven and bake for another 3 minutes or until the cheese is melted completely.
9. Remove from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes at room temperature.
10. Serve warm and enjoy!
