Ingredients:
1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
2 pounds / 1kg baby potatoes
1 teaspoon ground sage
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
3/4 teaspoon salt
Directions:
1. Thinly slice each potato from top to bottom. Make sure not to slice all the way through.
2. Add the prepared potatoes into a mixing bowl.
3. Place a small pot on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
4. Add the melted butter and seasonings into a mixing bowl. Stir until well blended.
5. Pour the mixture on top of the potatoes and toss until well coated.
6. Arrange the potatoes onto a baking tray. Make sure to leave a small space between each potato.
7. In the same bowl with the seasonings, add a bit of oil and stir until well blended.
8. Brush each potato with the oil mixture.
9. Prepare the oven and preheat to 200 degrees C or 400 degrees F.
10. Place them inside the preheated oven and bake for about 30 minutes or until they turn golden brown.
11. Remove from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes at room temperature.
12. Serve warm and enjoy!
