My grandmother’s soft apple cake…….. Hummmmmmm too good.

INGREDIENTS

3.5 oz flour
1 apple
3.5 oz semi-salted butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 pack of yeast

STEPS

Preheat your oven to 350F (th.6).

On a cooking board, cut the apple in half to remove the core and seeds.

Then cut it into pieces. In a saucepan over a high heat, put your apple pieces and then add 3 tablespoons of brown sugar.

In a suitable plate, put the butter and melt it in the microwave.

Pour the melted butter into a bowl and add the brown sugar.

Mix well.

In a bowl, break 2 eggs and beat them with a fork before adding them to the melted butter mixture in the bowl.

In a soup plate, mix your flour and yeast.

Sift this dry mixture over the preparation and add the caramelized apple.

Mix everything thoroughly.

Butter a 5.9 inches diameter mould.

Pour in the dough finally obtained.

Bake for 45 minutes.

Once the baking is finished, carefully coat your cake with film while it is still hot.
