No Fail Chocolate Fudge Recipe

My kids could not get enough of these heavenly treats! In about 15 minutes, you can surprise them with such delicious treats. Give it a try now. Have a blessed day, friends. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

1 1/2 c granulated sugar
2/3 c (5 fluid oz) Carnation Evaporated Milk
2 tbsp butter or margarine
1/4 tsp salt
2 c miniature marshmallows
1 1/2 c (9 oz) semisweet chocolate morsels (chips)
1/2 c pecans or walnuts, chopped (optional)
1 tsp pure vanilla extract

Directions:

Step 1: Line with waxed paper or aluminium foil an 8-inch square baking dish.

Step 2: Place a large saucepan on the stove and add the evaporated milk, sugar, butter, evaporated milk, and salt. Whisk until well combined.

Step 3: Turn the heat to medium and allow the mixture to boil. Make sure to stir from time to time for about 5 minutes.

Step 4: Remove the pan from the heat and add in the chocolate morsels, vanilla extract, nuts, and marshmallows. Stir for about 1 minute or until well combined and marshmallows are melted.

Step 5: Transfer the fudge into the lined baking pan.

Step 6: Place the fudge inside the fridge to chill and harden for about 2 hours.

Step 7: Remove the foil and cut the fudge into small squares with a sharp knife.

Step 8: Serve and enjoy!

Notes:

To Store the Fudge:

At Room Temperature:

1. Place the fudge in an airtight container and leave it at room temperature. It can last up to 1 to 2 weeks.
In the Fridge:

2. Place the fudge in an airtight container and place it inside the fridge. It can last up to 2 to 3 weeks.

In the Freezer:

1. Place the fudge in an airtight container and place it inside the freezer. It can last for months.
