Ingredients:
4 boneless skinless chicken thighs thinly sliced
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp olive oil
½ pound French green beans
4 cloves garlic minced
Salt and lemon pepper (to taste)
½ c heavy cream (or half-and-half + 1 tbsp flour for a lighter version)
1 teaspoon onion powder
½ c chicken broth unsalted
⅔ c grated Parmesan cheese more for garnish
10 ounces mushrooms
Directions:
1. Place the green beans into an oven-proof dish. Add 1/2 cup of water.
2. Place it inside the microwave and heat for about 10 minutes.
3. Place a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high.
4. Add butter and olive oil, then allow them to become hot.
5. Add the chicken, salt, and lemon pepper. Cook each side for about 4 minutes.
6. Add the garlic, mushrooms, beans, and onion powder. Stir and cook for about 5 minutes.
7. Add the heavy cream and chicken broth, stir until well blended.
8. Turn the heat down to low and simmer for a few minutes until the texture of the sauce becomes thick.
9. Add the Parmesan cheese and stir until well blended. Allow it to melt completely.
10. Add more seasonings if needed.
11. Sprinkle more cheese on top.
12. Serve and enjoy!
